Class of 57 Class Reunion


Minutes of reunion committee.


   1.      Welcome:

Bob McLean welcomed everyone

    2.    Present:

Bob McLean (Chair), Kevin Dell, Peter Robinson, Peter Macnamara and Tony  McGowan. .

 3.     Apologies:

Howard Barnes, Kevin Scully, Colin Pasco and Anne Marie Robinson

 4.     Minutes:

Minutes of the meeting held on 4 August 2008 were confirmed.

 5.      Matters arising from last Minutes:

        Financial Report

Kevin Dell confirmed that $850 was in the bank account for seven registrations. There has been expenditure of $7.25 on bank fees.

Registrations

Kevin indicated that 23 had registered of whom 6 had not paid.

Numbers indicating attendance

In addition following the phone etc contacts a further 38 including wives and partners had signified attendance. Overall this represents 36 pupils and 15 partners. It was anticipated that a further 8 or 10 plus partners could yet register. Bob was to provide the list of people still to be contacted to Alan Campbell.

It was agreed that those who had indicated attendance should now be invoiced for the appropriate registration fee and requested to complete registration.

Entertainment

Kevin Dell confirmed that he was working on this and was looking for a guitar player amongst the participants.

Bob indicated that he had access to some DVD films that would be suitable.

8.      Miscellaneous:

It was agreed that there was little point proceeding further with matters of organization until the level of attendance was resolved. Accordingly it was agreed that a meeting in two weeks time and this should allow the final responses to be reported back and a firm decision made with respect to how much of the Borland Lodge facilities should be tied up.
